BALLISTIC PROTECTION

The vehicle provides the following ballistic protection:

  • Opaque areas provide protection according to VPAM APR 2006, level 7 / CEN 1522 FB6 – all wide-spread soft core bullets 5.56, 7.62 and 9 mm, from any angle
  • Transparent areas have thickness 58 mm and provide protection according to STANAG 4569, protection level 2 – multiple shots of any soft-core bullets 5.56, 7.62 and 9 mm and also hard-core bullets 7.62 x 39 (BZ), from any angle
  • The fuel tank is protected against the effects of projectiles and two hand grenades detonated under the vehicle

 

BLAST RESISTANCE

The vehicle provides the following protection against blasts:

  • 2 x DM51 grenades detonated under the floor
  • 2 x DM51 grenades detonated on the roof
  • 15 kg TNT at 4 m distance from the side of the vehicle, elevation 1m
  • DM31 (anti-personal mine) detonated under the floor (optionally).
