ACU AP10 is designed to provide protection of confidential negotiations at any unsecure location, like in car, office, restaurant, etc. It delivers protection of conversations for two or more participants based on the method of acoustic noise masking.
ACU AP10 works as follows. The microphone is placed in the range of conversation, mostly limited by the area of a table. In two to five meters a processing unit with built-in speakers is located. The unit estimates the spectral components of a speech signal in real time and reproduce a special masking noise through the built-in speakers, delivering the required level of confidentiality.
The noise is only generated at the time of speech, providing comfort to the speakers in pauses.
It provides protection against all known listening equipment, as behind the borders of the protected zone, the existing mixture of speech and noise, where noise components greatly exceeds speech, makes it impossible to determine the contents of the original conversation.
